Gloucester History Festival - watch online!
I have attended the Gloucester History Festival on a number of occasions and it is one of the best. They always have a fantastic line up and this year, if you can’t make it to the talks held in the abandoned Blackfriars monastery, you can watch talks being live-streamed and for only £6 each! Click here for more details of their live-stream program and to get tickets.
Book Club 2025 - Suggest books for the long list
Soon it will be time to vote on the final book choices for Book Club 2025! Have your say by submitting your suggestions.
NOTE: Please sign up on a desktop and not via ApplePay. The fees imposed by Apple Pay on the purchasers are higher and can be avoided. This does not affect existing patrons or new patrons ability to access Patreon via their phones once a member.
We have one more book club meeting for 2024 where we’ll be discussing John Guy & Julia Fox’s book on the marriage of Anne Boleyn and Henry VII.
I hope you will be able to join me tomorrow for Tea Time History. Chat live or tomorrow evening for History After Dark where me, Dr Kat and Catherine will be discussing Edward the Confessor and whether he can be considered a ‘History Hero!’
Until next week!
