Hello Fellow History Lovers!
It’s Tuesday! That may be obvious, but the reason I mention it is that I would usually be sending you this newsletter on a Sunday. However, Sunday is also the day that I release new videos and podcasts, such as this Sunday with the release of my brilliant interview with Dr Nicola Tallis about the Matriarch of the Tudor dynasty, Margaret Beaufort. To avoid a clash and, to be frank, Sunday working, I have decided to give a Tuesday publish date a try.
A Tuesday newsletter also gives me opportunity to remind you of my weekly livestreams, in a timely manner. They happen each Wednesday; at 3pm it is my Tea Time History Chat Live, and then later, at 8:15pm, I am part of the ‘History After Dark’ trio. Both shows can be found on YouTube (details below).
King John
On this week’s Tea Time History Chat Live I’ll be talking about King John, who died exactly 807 years ago, on 18th October 1216. Join me live on Youtube and Instagram or catch up later on those same channels and on the Podcast (you’ll get a notification through Substack when it is up!).
History After Dark
Ok, so after saying our weekly live ‘History After Dark’ show is at 8:15pm, this week we will be starting a bit later, at 8:30pm.
Available to watch and listen to, now;
The Anne Boleyn Tour
16th - 20th May 2024
**TWO SPACES AVAILABLE**
One room, suitable for two people or someone travelling alone, has become available for ‘The Anne Boleyn Tour’. We’re running two of these tours next year and now you have the opportunity to decide between the two dates. But hurry, if the 16th- 20th May is the tour you want please check out the itinerary and contact us soon as I don’t expect the room to be available for long.
I hope to see you tomorrow for Tea Time History Chat Live and/or History After Dark!
Have a great day and I’ll ‘see’ you soon!
